St. John’s Head Start in Joliet, IL is one LMCC provider who is focusing extra attention on getting kids to move throughout the day. The end of the year Super Fit Show has become a much anticipated celebration for preschoolers at St. John’s. It is during this event when the kids display their fitness skills in grand fashion. The children and staff participate in various movement activities, and the parents receive healthy snacks and nutritional information, including recipes, to promote healthy eating at home. This year’s celebration was even featured in the local newspaper!
